Evening of Lights

During the atmospheric Evening of Lights, you can commemorate loved ones who have passed away and take a moment to reflect on your loss.

All participants will be given a small candle. Holding the lit candle in your hand, you’ll walk along a fairytale-like illuminated route to the natural burial ground at the rear of the site. There, a short ceremony will take place featuring specially selected texts that give voice to loss and grief, accompanied by the polyphonic singing of the Bedside Singers, conducted by Anadya Kock-Wouters. Afterwards, there will be coffee and tea for a brief chat.

The Evening of Lights is for anyone who misses someone, in whatever way. Simply being together is comforting and fosters a deep sense of connection. Of course, people who do not have a loved one buried in the cemetery are also very welcome.
