The Laboratory of Land Surveying (Geodesy) is one of the institutes of the Agricultural College at Hinkeloord. Designed by Frants Edvard Röntgen, the building only received national monument status in 2007. The building is beautifully located on a moraine and offers a magnificent view of the lower Betuwe. But this location was deliberately chosen in the first place for teaching Land surveying, where the many church towers in the Betuwe formed the reference points for the practical students. After the university sold the property in 2000,
some business premises and a residence were established in the building
